  • Working with Myriam has been a truly transformational experience.  I reached out to her after doing years of talk therapy and feeling like I needed more in my healing journey. Following along with Myriam’s exercises and prompts has allowed me to tune into my body and gain greater insight into how I’m doing.  Additionally, I have gained many tools and techniques to better manage my thoughts and emotions. These learnings have been invaluable, and I will continue to use what I’ve learned in my personal life.   • Self-compassion is elusive – it’s hard to cultivate in our society, or even to understand what it is. We all instantly recognize references to our internal self-critic. But if someone were to speak of an internal support person, that would leave us scratching our heads. I’ve spent years researching self-compassion, and cultivating it within myself through reading, therapy, yoga, and meditation. It’s had a huge positive impact on my mental health so far. Also, I realize I’ve just scratched the surface – there is so much more to learn, so many more benefits to enjoy. I love Myriam’s Embodied Integration because, beyond mind-focused approaches, this work has allowed me to relate to my physical self more authentically and respectfully. That was a missing piece, and has allowed me to go deeper. Imagine, living all these years in my body and not knowing how to “reach in” to myself.   • Myriam's yoga classes are one of a kind. She knows how to keep the mood light and playful but challenging at the same time. Every class includes spiritual teachings that have helped me bring yoga and meditation off my mat and into my daily life.   • Myriam has changed my life, and that's no exaggeration. Her classes are so helpful. She teaches poses clearly and carefully, with lots of instruction, and she shows people how to modify as needed. The focus is *not* on people achieving the right 'look' in a pose, but rather that they get the most benefit from them. She has a lot of background training and experience in the yogic traditions, so she connects the poses and movements to their intended meaning and purpose. What we embody in class, she then encourages us to take with us 'off the mat'. Her restorative classes are a truly special thing. Afterwards, I feel more deeply relaxed than at any other time. I've been attending Myriam's classes for over 2 years. Before, I lived mostly in my head. Now, I live in my body more. Not only have I developed core strength and flexibility, but I live my life more intentionally, ease-fully, and in the present moment. My life is more enjoyable and fulfilling.   • Four months ago I went to a retreat led by Myriam. The experience was wonderful. Myriam's approach was deeply healthy; drawing on a range of techniques, approaches, and spiritual legacies. Underlying all this was a deep sense of respect for the perspectives, abilities, and beliefs of all people who were participating. Four months later, the legacy of the retreat remains. Personal yoga sessions at home are more frequent, varied, and thoughtful. Many of the experiences of the weekend remain fresh and positive in my memory. Myriam's care in crafting the weekend, selecting an excellent retreat venue, and supporting the participants at a variety of skill levels was touching and appreciated. ~ Scott H.
